I've had some comments that say that the Balrog in Moria known as Durin's Bane did have wings. In this video I look at the text, mainly The Fellowship of the Ring, and deciipher what I believe Tolkien intended the Balrog's appearance to be. I am certain that all will agree.
The information for this is delved from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion.
Constructive criticism is always welcome and I hope that this bridges the gap between education and entertainment.
