We're One Port Away - four friends who shared a common dream: to live on a sailboat and sail away. Last year that dream became a reality when we purchased our 44ft Laura. After spending 9 months fixing her up, we finally set sail this summer. We're currently exploring Corsica.

This episode we continue circumnavigating Corsica, currently sailing down the west coast. We sail through the incredible red porphyry rocks of the Scandola Nature Reserve, where we get to spend the night. Then head to the cute village of Girolata where we have breakfast with the cows and attempt (but ultimately fail to hike to a castle). Later on we sail a little down the coast to the cute town of Porto where unfortunately we have to say goodbye to our guest Rosine (but a familiar face comes to pick her up). There we get caught in a rainstorm but it breaks for long enough for us to climb the local tower where we get epic views of the surrounding mountains. We arrive back on board just in time to shelter from a crazy hail storm, but it isn’t long before we’re back in the midst of it trying to rescue someone’s lost tender. We end the night by finally hanging up a sheet and projecting a movie. Can you guess which one it is?
