We're One Port Away - four friends who shared a common dream: to live on a sailboat and eventually sail the world. Last year that dream became a reality when we purchased our 44ft Laura. After spending 9 months fixing her up, we finally set sail this summer. We're currently exploring Corsica.
This episode we sail down the coast of Corsica, attempting to make it the legendary white cliffs of Bonifacio. We stop at a protected nature reserve where we went snorkeling, and a the tip of Sant'Amanza, where we found a hidden bunker.
Finally, the next day we made it to Bonifacio, where we sailed alongside the cliffs and attempted to dock at special spot right below the town. Unfortunately, it was completely full so we had to head back out, anchoring in a nearby bay instead, but the journey, and seeing the cliffs up close, was still completely worth it.
