What If I Didn't Want To Be Born?

This rendering of the song has a more emotive feel to it. I actually got a bit choked up during the chorus, especially the last one after the bridge.
I swear. If J.D. had been around back in the 1960s and a woman who wasn't intending to have children, but just wanted be a career lady, was guilted into having children because J.D. shamed her, and she would end up bringing me into this lousy world, I would hope he had the most miserable life ever and lived to be over a hundred and ten years old, hating every minute of it. Furthermore, he would have to be tormented by the voices of those who feel betrayed by being "human-trafficked" onto this slave-planet run by oligarchs. He would have songs like this pulsating in his head 24/7/365 and unable to sleep peacefully due to his dreams being permeated by them and the grieved cries of those who were born because of his selfish agenda in shaming women or young couples into having children they may otherwise have opted not to have. Not everybody is glad to have been bestowed life and throwing it away is no option lest they be punished for it. Religion is the sole reason I wish I never was born.
There is a website called StopHavingKids.org. While I don't agree 100% with it, it does have some valid points, especially with how we've come to practically worship politics and money; think we are the only people in the world who are right; don't care about others' viewpoints or ideologies to the point we believe we must force them to see things our way, something that is the reason behind every war we've ever started, except the Revolutionary War.
Now by no means would I tell someone not to have children, had they asked me if they should, however I would tell them to consider the world they are living in and if they want their children having to navigate such a world. The only way I would tell them not to have children, is if they were just wanting to live their own lives through them; if they would disown them if they chose a different path such as not adhering to a religion or political viewpoint, if they ended up being gay, lesbian or trans.
