A white-hot remix from 2024 of the hit duet from Rick James and Teena Marie. Although this song was never a single, it blew up on the radio. A lot of us didn't know the real title because the dj was not saying what the song was. I remember some people at work referring to it as "Love Them and Leave Them". I remember recording the entire album from the East Bay's KSOL on one of their midnight album feature and I wrote the song title as "You Turned on My Fire".
I can't believe Kimmy got his hands on this one. I'm familiar the remix from John Morales of M&M Mix fame. Him and Sergio Munzubia were big in the 1980s with making remixes. It's nice to see Mr. Morales making a bit of a comeback. He did a lot of remixes for Rick James's and Teena Marie's catalog. At any rate, this remix out of Pyongyang is giving Ol' M&M a run for the money.
