Описание: This work by Joachim Raff was played by George Pollak, pictured above, in a city-wide piano competition in Boston in 1936, at the age of 12. For being selected as the winner, George was awarded a scholarship to study with Leo Litwin, piano soloist with the Boston Pops. Four decades later, George was asked by his family to play the piece so that it could be recorded. That is the version used for this audio clip. We hope you enjoy it. Thank you for listening.
