::: ABOUT THE WORK :::

The heated public debate about climate change illustrates its cataclysmic long-term effects on our planet. In this work, I juxtapose what is at stake – our nurturing ecosystem of extraordinary beauty and sophistication – with the compounding force of natural disasters that unfold at varying temporal scales in a series of contrasting ‘sonic environments.’ This narrative friction begins with echoing gestures, leaving it to our decisions whether they ultimately point toward hope and renewal or bear witness to self-inflicted, irreversible consequences, which tell an admonishing story of lost futures.
