Meghalaya (Shillong), Sep 20 (ANI) : Exercise MAITREE – the annual bilateral joint exercise between Indian Armies and Royal Thailand Army is underway at the Joint Training Node at Umroi in Meghalaya.
The exercise is the third consecutive drill that aims at training the troops in counter-terrorism operations in both jungle terrain and urban scenario.
Armies of both sides are undergoing training on various tactics to combat terrorism and security challenges that both the countries are facing
