STORYLINE
Amsterdam is celebrating its fifth pink Christmas with drag queens and kings donning their ice skates for the annual Drag Queen Olympics on Leidseplein ice skating rink.
"The fun message is that we are not just gays we are also very sportive," said event organiser Miss Windy Mills. "But for me I chose just to have a good time and we can have fun with drag queens," she said.
The event held annually is open to both drag queens and kings.
The event sees the world's top "drag Olympians" compete in events which include the 100 metre sprint, musical chairs and of course the Christmas present throw.
The Pink Christmas is held from December 19 to 31.
