Pitlochry to Rannoch Station - ( Day 4 ). Braes of Foss to Loch Rannoch.

Описание: From a wild-camp spot by the Braes of Foss Forestry Car Park where folks park to go climb Schiehallion itself, I made it passed the Craigh na Dun Outlander Site where I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and chatting with Finlay McIntyre, the Manager of the Dunalastair Highland Estate. What a lovely, friendly guy and a complete wealth of knowledge on the Estate and surrounding areas. Great guy. Didn't know it at the time, but I was talking with a TV Reality Star in his own right as Finlay was on BBC's 'The Mart' as well as other farming related content videos on YouTube.

After spending some time looking round the Outlander location I made my way downhill to Kinloch Rannoch to visit the Tearoom and on to the South shore of Loch Rannoch after bumping into Ken and his good lady just after leaving Kinloch Rannoch itself. So very sorry, my auld man memory issues made me forget the lady's name. Once I pitched up by the loch side I had a very chilled, relaxing evening watchng the waves lapping up on the shore and staring at the sky over the loch. Bliss.

Today I was stopped by the Police twice as the were out looking for REECE ROGER who went missing in the Kinloch Rannoch area on Saturday 18th March 2023. A full search has been under way since then to try and find the young man. If anyone has any information please contact the local Police Scotland. Let's hope this young man is found safe and well.
