In 1964, Arthur Danto, saw Brillo Box, and in 1984 he stated that,
if it can´t be distinguished art, from every days objects, this a philosophy problem. Vasari theory of art can´t explain it, and
therefore cant progress any longer, is ended.
We will show that Danto's characterization of progress in mimesis is wrong, and are also mistaken the premises of his arguments. He did not justify the end of history of art.Given the importance of Warhol's work in Danto's theory of art, we will offers a critical analysis of his work, which at the same time transforms the objects of American popular culture into high culture, exposes the dark side of the same culture
