"So, it’s absolutely pissing it down." 🌧️ Famous last words before a very questionable day of decisions.
In today’s vlog, me and Lewis head to the gym to smash a Back and Biceps session, featuring a lot of heavy lifting and even heavier chatting. We kept it moving with some solid volume, but the real challenge was the 25km "shower" I took immediately afterward.
The "Pre-Monsoon" Workout:
Weighted Pull-ups: 12kg (plus random chat)
Rear Delt Flys: 7.5kg
Seated Rows: 80kg
Hyperextensions: To get that lower back ready for the miles 🍑
Preacher Curls: 30kg
Hammer Curls: 18kg (Straight into a 10kg drop set for the ego)
Once the pump was secured, I set off for a 25km long-distance run. It started off with beautiful sunshine (the ultimate bait-and-switch) before the clouds opened up. I ended up running 15+ miles in freezing rain, but the South Africa trip prep kept me going. 🇿🇦
