At a news conference in Ottawa, federal ministers highlight the government’s new auto sector strategy and announce investments in clean transportation. The funding includes $84.4 million to install more than 8,000 electric vehicle chargers across the country.
Speaking with reporters are ministers Tim Hogdson (energy and natural resources), Julie Dabrusin (environment and climate change), and Steven MacKinnon (transport and government House leader), as well as Liberal MP Mona Fortier.
