My short tribute to my favourite diesel locomotive - the Class 22.
There was never anything glamorous about the class 22 - it did all of the dirty jobs while it’s bigger cousins got all the glory.
With an in service life of only 13 years, and with none making it into preservation, there are many people who would never have seen the class in service. Even video footage of the “real thing” is hard to find.
So I hope you enjoy a few minutes of this wonderful loco in model form as it goes about it’s duties on my model railway - Whitehall Bridge.
