Описание: This dagger was built as part of my final project in my Alaska Native Sciences class at university, studying the metalworking traditions and techniques of Southeast Alaska. While I did study many original pieces in the museum, my dagger was made for art and educational purposes and is not meant to be an authentic replica. My main sources of inspiration were Tlingit and Haida daggers, some of which I was able to see in person in the Alaska state museum archives, and others can be viewed online through the museum's digital archives.
