Choć ten krótki materiał wygląda jak typowe zamówienie propagandy PRL to jego niewątpliwą zaletą jest ukazanie Gdańska w pierwszych latach powojennych. Obraz nie do końca wiarygodny, ponieważ unikano fotografowania wciąż zniszczonych budynków. Skoncentrowano się na propagandowych dekoracjach z okazji kongresu zjednoczeniowego partii PPR i PPS.

Obwohl dieses kurze Werk wie eine typische kommunistische Propagandaarbeit anmutet, liegt sein unbestreitbarer Wert in der Darstellung Danzigs in den ersten Nachkriegsjahren. Das Bild ist nicht gänzlich glaubwürdig, da Fotos der noch immer zerstörten Gebäude vermieden wurden. Stattdessen lag der Fokus auf Propagandadekorationen zur Feier des Vereinigungskongresses der Polnischen Arbeiterpartei (PPR) und der Polnischen Sozialistischen Partei (PPS).

From the NAC archives, part 59.

Although this short piece looks like a typical communist propaganda commission, its undoubted merit is its portrayal of Gdańsk in the first post-war years. The image is not entirely credible, as photographs of the still-destroyed buildings were avoided. Instead, the focus was on propaganda decorations celebrating the unification congress of the Polish Workers' Party (PPR) and Polish Socialist Party (PPS).
