I've been a Brown Belt since 2022 and also moved back to Missouri to continue my training. I will be brining Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdowns to the channel on a regular basis so stay tuned for more! In this CJI 2024 | Andrew Tackett - North South No-Gi Passing Clinic I describe how Andrew Tackett was able to wear down the guard of Nicky Ryan by using a style of guard passing that I love to use which is North South, Tripod, and toreando passing.

Andrew Tackett has been on an absolute tear lately, and CJI was no different. Andrew used a combination of Tripod passing to put heavy pressure on Nicky Ryan while keeping his feet light and free for toreando passes. This allowed him to go to North South Multiple times and wear Nicky Ryan down. This Style of passing gives you the benefit of pressure on your opponents guard while allowing you to use you feet freely and your speed. (Hence why I enjoy it so much).

I have also changed up the video breakdown format by adding a webcam and talking about the footage in real time. That way I can get my thoughts out to you all in real time along with marking up the video so you can see clearly what people are doing.
