In eight short video's working with the application Max, developed by cycling74, is introduced. This series, focussing on realtime interaction on generative sound, was created for the class 'realtime processes with MaxMSP' (rmm) for the sonology program (www.sonology.org). As in some situations it is preferable to work with Puredata, each video as an addendum that shows how the same functionality can be achieved in that application.
Keeping patches well organized and clearly laid out, creates ease of use and makes maintenance simpler. This episode shows some strategies.
