Welcome to this “25 Min Yoga for Flexible Legs and Hips” class, sequenced specifically to enhance your leg and hip flexibility, especially if you feel tight or restricted. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to yoga, this yoga class is perfect for anyone looking to address tight hips and legs to improve overall flexibility. Listen to your body and enjoy these juicy poses!
In this class, we’ll move through a slow, intentional flow with longer holds and a focus on the breath. Asana combined with pranayama (breath work) techniques are highly effective for increasing flexibility, alleviating tension, and calming the nervous system. Our practice will target both leg and hip mobility, essential for overall wellness.
Tight hips and legs can affect the ENTIRE body, including your back, shoulders, and neck. By focusing on yoga for legs and hips, we aim to release this tension and enhance your range of motion. Fun fact! We’ll incorporate key poses such as Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (Pigeon Pose), which help lengthen the gluteal muscles and piriformis, providing relief for lower back pain and have been shown to help sciatica.
