Wealth in my understanding is not the accumulation of physical or material possessions. As a matter of fact most of the people with great material possession and resources in our world today are depressed, frustrated, confused, and have in most cases lost their families and great relationship as a result.

Wealth is about asking God to grant you to ability to see, not just to look. “Because eyes that look are common, but eyes that see are rare” (Dr. Myles Munroe). The key to wealth is having divine perspective, having the ability to see possibilities in everything. This is the reason why God says if you want greatness, don’t pray for money, pray for ideas. Solomon was the riches man who ever lived because when God asked him what he wanted or desired, and though he could have asked for silver or gold, destruction of his enemies, and what not, he asked God for wisdom, the ability to understand and apply knowledge effectively.

I define true wealth as the ability to experience the totality of LIFE in ABUNDANCE to impact and advance the kingdom of God, and the world for the transformation of destinies. True Wealth is having the ability and capacity to create and produce whatever you need whenever you need it. True Wealth is the discovery of your worth. It is the difficulty of been replaced because of the demand or need your gift serves.

The real measure of wealth is how much you’d be worth if you lost all your money [or material possession]” (Unknown author). If you want to be truly wealthy, don’t waste your life hording and chasing after money, seek rather for divine ideas and ways of how serve humanity with your gift. Become a person of value, one that your generation cannot do without, and riches will chase after you.
