30 Days to Heal Your Body | Day 4
This is a gentle movement healing practice for the neck and shoulders.
The neck and shoulders are places where the body holds what the mind has not released. Stress. Responsibility. Vigilance. Grief. The weight of carrying too much for too long.
In this practice, healing happens through invitation, not force.
You will be guided through slow, intentional movements similar to gentle yoga, allowing the neck and shoulders to soften, lengthen, and release. Breath, sound, and awareness work together to support the body as it unwinds stored tension.
A deep healing frequency plays throughout the practice, leading your nervous system into a state of safety and receptivity. You are guided not only by my voice, but by the sound itself. Let it move through you. Let it do what it knows how to do.
This is embodied prayer.
This is moving prayer.
You may experience:
• A softening of tightness in the neck and shoulders
• Emotional release as the body lets go
• Increased circulation, warmth, or spaciousness
• A sense of relief, even if subtle
Everything offered in this practice is optional.
Every movement is an invitation.
You are encouraged to listen to your body and move in the way that feels true for you.
If emotion arises, allow it.
If stillness calls, honor it.
If your body wants to sigh, sound, or rest, let it.
This practice is meant to leave you feeling lighter, more spacious, and more at ease in your body than when you began.
You may return to this meditation anytime you feel tension building in the neck and shoulders, or when life feels heavy and your body has been holding the weight.
