Описание: When Karl Struss arrived in Hollywood, his very first job was taking still photographs for director Cecil B. DeMille at Famous Players-Lasky, the largest studio at the time. In this role, Struss worked with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood and exhibited a keen eye for lighting, drama, and composition. See some of Struss’s still photographs in “Moving Pictures,” on view May 12–August 25, 2024, at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
