Going over the most affordable techniques for shooting moving image film.

This video is primarily aimed at making moving image film more accessible to those who can't afford the often exorbitant price tag associated with it.

The video centers around a single format and camera, these being Double Super 8 and the Zenit Quarz DS8-3.


Please be aware that due to the volatility of the remaining Film Photography/Cinematography market, prices have a habit of jumping around a bit. I have attempted to make this video as accurate as possible to the current market but with prices changing sometimes as often as on a weekly basis, there is no realistic way for me to ensure absolutely accurate pricing.

That said, the methods and products I choose to go over in this video should still remain some of the most affordable techniques for accessing moving image film even if the final price-tag differs.

Finally, although I go over this quite clearly in the video, please remember that DS8 is NOT Super8 or Regular 8mm film. The last thing I want to do is have viewers end up with the wrong type of film for their camera and end up discouraging people from moving image film.
