Описание: Life; it is just a circle. It’s a circle in which we find ourselves caught up in the rituals and the patterns. Some are good; others are the lessons we never learn, and they are not so good. Hopefully, by the time we exit this mortal coil we have grown and became the good more so than the bad. These cycles include my thoughts and songs that accompany them. And I covered this two years or so back, but it has been on my mind again, reminding me we are all pilgrims on a path, growing, and changing with the seasons. Yesterday, I was working with a student; she had to write an essay on symbols, how one specific has meaning in her life, and how is this symbol your life path? She said, "I have no idea what to do." So I told her, "We all have symbols and a life path; may I share mine?" Yes. Please do. "It may be TMI; however the symbol/archetype that has specific meaning in my life is that of the biblical Sampson. It is double edged: It means strength, but it also represents pride and downfall. It represents my current life path because every time I accomplish something, I get prideful, and I fall further than before. In a way, I wish I could learn." An hour later, student had two pages written. Me, I am still on a path, every time I get three steps forward in health or making something better, I fall a step behind. And yet, that is just life. I am not Kris Kristofferson or any musician. I am just a guy, trying to reconcile memories with a soundtrack to them that plays in his head. The guitar playing is not always great, but it gives me a way to speak. If you found your way here on your path and decided to rest and listen, thank you.
