| How to get over a Mobile Addiction?

Friends, do you often find yourself scrolling through your mobile during the day and maybe even often during the night? Do you sometimes check for messages, even though there's no ringing or beeping on your phone? Do you have your phone on during your meal time? If this is so, then please watch this video. I will give you three simple ways to get rid of what may be your addiction.
PEW researchers have shown that 67% of mobile users admitted to checking their mobiles even when there was no ringing or beeping sound. An experiment was shown on WION News, where children were told for 15 minutes, just 15 minutes, not to check their mobile. Many of them, in less than two minutes, checked their phones, even though there was no ringing or beeping sound.
Friends, have you ever wondered how social media companies offer products for free? We think that we are the customers, and social media is the product, but that's not true. The advertising company is the real customer, and now viewing time is the product. So, what do they want? They want you to watch as much as possible, so there's the scrolling system. They give you one video after another, or one picture after another. They use AI to show you exactly what you want. Then, there are likes and other features designed to get you addicted.
So, how do you break free from this addiction? I mentioned three ways. They're easy but not so easy without discipline and consistency. The first way is to "Turn off unnecessary notifications." Some notifications are important, but many are unnecessary. Turn them off, so you're not tempted to check your phone.
The second way is "To disable apps you don’t need." You’ll need WhatsApp and a few others, but some apps can consume too much time. Later on, if they’re necessary, you can put them back. For now, you can always take them off.
The third way is to "Set times and zones off mobile." For example, the first thing in the morning, during study and work time, or meal time. So many people eat while watching their mobiles. Oops, I hit the tissue by mistake. That can happen to you. And then, just before going to sleep, avoid your phone.
My dear friends, start small, but slowly build up. In the morning, you may want to stop for the first half hour. But start with five minutes, then gradually increase. Expect failure along the way. Remember the law of the seasons: there’s no falling of leaves without spring. It may seem like failure, but actually, you are growing.
