Описание: The Old Whangamomona Road is an unmaintained paper road suitable for 4x4 vehicles. It follows the Whangamomona River and passes through native bush with two old hand-dug tunnels on the way. Its about 11km and takes you from Whangamomona Hotel to the Bridge to Somewhere. Mud terrain tyres and a winch are highly recommended. Don’t forget to stop at the Whangamomona Hotel and make a donation to the road maintenance fund as the track is exclusively looked after and maintained by the local 4wd clubs now 👍🏻
