In this project, I have designed a payload dropping mechasim using Micro SG-90 Servo Motor that is attached with the drone using a bottom plate. The attached payload with the thin rod is manually dropped at desired location using the control commands from the Radio Tx. The servo motor is interfaced with the Main Output 8 of the Pixhawk Flight Controller. RCin7 is assigned to Servo8 on Ardupilot. Again, the 7th Auxilary Channel of the Radio Tx is assigned to 2-way switch 'A' . In this way, the generated PWM signal from the Main Output 8 of the pixhawk flight controller can control the rotation of the servo motor & hence initiate the dropping mechanism.
