Описание: A read out loud from the introduction portion of the handbook for the Mantegna Tarot by Christina Dorsini, published by Il Meneghello in 2017.

She proposed the likelihood of Mantegna as the author of this deck based on:

(1) Ferrara school of artistic style
(2) Ferrara topography in various depictions in the cards
(3) Venetian dialect in three card titles, and Mantegna was born in Venice
(4) Mantegna's time line which overlaps with Pierro della Francesca's and / or some Flemish painters in Ferrara
(5) Similarities in compositions with that of della Francesca's which originated from around about the same time and place
(6) Demonstration of classical elements, and Mantegna's interest and expertise in the area

My understanding is that that current thoughts in the matter is that Mantegna is not the artist.
