🥒 How to Make Khoosa (Zucchini) – Simple & Tasty Recipe
Khoosa (zucchini) is a soft and healthy vegetable that cooks very fast. You can make it in a simple stir-fry style for everyday meals.
🛒 Ingredients:
3 medium khoosa (zucchini) – chopped into small cubes
1 onion – sliced
1 tomato – chopped (optional)
2 green chilies – slit
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Fresh coriander for garnish
👩🍳 Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
2. Add sliced onion and cook until soft and light golden.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for 1 minute.
4. Add tomato, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomato becomes soft.
5. Add chopped zucchini and mix well.
6. Cover and cook on low heat for 8–10 minutes. Zucchini releases water, so don’t add extra water.
7. Cook until tender but not mushy.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander.
