CROSS helps professionals to make structures safer. We do this by publishing safety information based on the reports received, along with information in the public domain. CROSS collects confidential data on the concerns of structural engineers, fire professionals, and others; both on structural safety, fire safety, and their overlap. Commentary of recognised experts in the field and their advice are published on the reported concerns, so that learning points for the wider engineering community can be articulated and promoted.
This talk will share more about our work covering fire and structural safety, how organisations can benefit through CROSS, as well as examples of reported safety issues, some from partner organisations in Australasia and the USA. The talk will give updates on the latest trends, and the respective safety alerts, and how CROSS is influencing behaviour and culture change.

There will be a brief description of the current issues surrounding RAAC in the UK.
