Since 1956, the Fostering Scheme, administered by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports, has cared for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our volunteer foster families have provided alternative home-based care for children and young persons who are unable to be cared for by their own families. Under this scheme, these foster families provide them with a stable and nurturing home environment, which will enable them to reach their fullest potential.
