Discovery Safe Journeys to School (DSJTS) is one of Discovery’s flagship CSI programmes, focused on ensuring children get to and from school safely every day. Since 2013, this partnership between Discovery and Afrika Tikkun, has been empowering scholar drivers while giving parents peace of mind.
In this conversation, Head of CSI at Discovery, Andronica Mabuya, speaks to Marcella Naidoo, Project Coordinator for DSJTS, about how investing in scholar transport drivers – through telematics, defensive driving, first-aid training and health checks – is changing behaviour and saving lives.
