Before boarding the Carnival Firenze, we spent the night on the iconic Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. This historic ship-turned-hotel offers a truly unique experience with its vintage rooms, art deco details, and rich maritime history.

It was the perfect way to start our cruise vacation. Staying on the Queen Mary gave us amazing views of the Carnival Firenze docked nearby, and easy access to the cruise terminal the next morning.

We boarded Carnival Firenze and immediately set out to explore this stunning ship. From the beautifully designed atrium to the Italian-inspired lounges, bars, restaurants, and outdoor spaces — we take you on a full tour of the ship.

We also share our first impressions and show you what makes Carnival Firenze stand out from other Carnival ships.

We rented a golf cart and toured around beautiful Catalina Island, enjoying all the sights and local favorites in Avalon.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fahrenheit 555, Carnival's signature steakhouse. Amazing service, incredible steaks, and an unforgettable dining experience.

Bonsai Teppanyaki
One of our favorite meals was at Bonsai Teppanyaki — a fun and interactive dinner where the chefs cook right at your table while entertaining with tricks, flames, and humor.

Michelangelo Restaurant
Each night, we dined in the Michelangelo Restaurant, Carnival Firenze’s main dining room, where we enjoyed Italian-inspired dishes and a great variety of menu options.

Karaoke Nights
Of course, we had to jump up on stage and sing our hearts out at karaoke! It’s always a blast onboard Carnival cruises, and the Firenze karaoke crowd brought the energy!

Bars & Lounges
We checked out several of the beautiful bars on Carnival Firenze, sipping on fun cocktails and enjoying the Italian-inspired atmosphere.
