Luxury Home With Beautiful Simple Atrium That Has Unique Function

Описание: Located in a densely populated residential area of Ho Chi Minh city, this luxury home is nestled among neighboring houses. The owners, a young couple with two children, have made the most of the 13m wide and 19m deep plot by designing the entire house around an interior patio. This layout allows for ample natural light to fill the home.

To combat the heat and control the amount of sunlight, the house is positioned to face west. An automated sunshade louver is installed to regulate the sunlight entering through the large, openable sky window in the patio. Additionally, the ground floor is slightly raised from the street level, ensuring unobstructed views from the dining area over the carport. For added privacy and to create a disconnect from the bustling street, a front wall fence has been erected.

The front elevation of the house is shielded from direct sunlight by a deep overhang roof, allowing the fully glazed and openable windows to remain unaffected. Additionally, a large openable sky window promotes efficient airflow throughout the entire space. On the ground floor, the central planter with a tropical tree is the main focal point, with the patio providing ample natural light. This central planter effectively separates the kitchen and dining area from the living room. The master bedroom, located at the back of the house, features large sliding door windows that provide an open and airy feeling. The bathroom also has a semi-open design.

The ground level of the building features a spacious patio, two bedrooms, and a large balcony that offers an expansive view of the city. The presence of large sliding door windows allows for maximum openness, even within the bedrooms. This design choice aims to promote interaction among family members and establish a visual connection with the surrounding greenery, such as the indoor tree. Throughout the entire design process, careful consideration has been given to factors such as the sun's path, the tropical climate, and the local environment. This approach ensures that the space offers comfort, ease of maintenance, and a tranquil atmosphere despite being located in a densely populated urban area.
