Jewish settlers on Sunday (10/9) invaded a Palestinian school for
girls in the West Bank city of Hebron and beat up the
headmistress. They later injured 10 girls who had marched to the
city hall to protest the incident. Control of Hebron remains the
main stumbling bloc to an agreement between Israel and the PLO on
withdrawal of Israeli security forces from parts of the West Bank.
