Chocolate n mango combination tastes yumm!!
Learn how to make these super delicious dark chocolate modaks using filling made with Maaza which gives these modak the rich taste of fresh Alphonso mangoes.
Ingredients
1 cup dark chocolate
2 tbsp milk powder
3 tbsp dessicated coconut
1 cup Mazaa
Filling
Heat a pan. Add 1 cup Mazaa. Keep on Low heat. Reduce it for about 10 mins till almost half.
Add 3 tbsp dessicated coconut and 2 tbsp milk powder to it. Mix well till it forms a soft ball. Remove and cool.
For the chocolate modak shell
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave for 1 mins. You can also use the double boiler to melt the chocolate. Keep stirring the chocolate till it comes to room temperature.
Fill the silicon modak molds with the chocolate. Tap it gently. Pour out the chocolate into a bowl. Clean the excess chocolate using a palette knife. Refrigerate for 5 mins.
Remove. Spoon in the Mazaa filling into each modak shell. Cover with the chocolate. Tap gently to spread it evenly. Refrigerate again for 10 mins.
Remove. Gently unmold the Chocolate mazaa modak.
