शिक्षा विभाग की एकीकृत बाल विकास सेवा (आईसीडीएस) से जुड़ी आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं ने श्रीनगर के लाल चौक स्थित प्रेस एन्क्लेव के बाहर अपने लंबे समय से लंबित वेतन के भुगतान की मांग को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने पेंशन योजना, ग्रेच्युटी और मानदेय में वृद्धि की भी मांग रखी। अध्यक्ष फहमीदा के नेतृत्व में कार्यकर्ताओं ने पुलिस की मौजूदगी और पूर्व अनुमति के बिना भी अपना प्रदर्शन जारी रखा और अधिकारियों से अपनी समस्याओं का तत्काल समाधान करने का आग्रह किया।

Anganwadi workers associated with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) of the Education Department held a protest outside Press Enclave at Lal Chowk, Srinagar, demanding the release of their long-pending salaries. The protesters also raised demands for a pension scheme, gratuity, and an increase in their honorarium. Led by their president Fahmida, the workers continued their demonstration despite the presence of police personnel and the absence of prior permission, urging the authorities to immediately address their long-standing issues.
