Описание: Ferit Tüzün (1929–1977) was a renowned Turkish composer known for works like Midas'ın Kulakları, Çeşmebaşı Ballet, and Esintiler. Born in Istanbul, he studied at Ankara Conservatory under Ulvi Cemal Erkin and Necil Kazım Akses, graduating with top honors. Tüzün's first major orchestral work, Lullaby, premiered in 1952. He continued his studies in Munich, learning from Fritz Lehmann, Karl Amadeus Hartmann, and Carl Orff, and worked as an assistant conductor at Munich State Opera. His Anatolian Suite, Türkische Capriccio, and Humoresque were performed by the Munich Philharmonic, showcasing his mastery in blending Turkish themes with Western classical traditions.
