English Pronunciation for Finns- 10 Sounds Finns Get Wrong, part 1 - th, t/d, b/p, k/g, ch/j (subs)

Описание: In this video, I go through ten common English sounds that Finnish speakers often get wrong when they pronounce English. I then give tips on how to get past these mistakes. After the intro, I explain to the viewers that, overall, Finnish pronunciation is very clear and good. Then I tell the viewer that the best way to improve your pronunciation is to 1) surround yourself with English and 2) master the science of it. I then say that my pronunciation has more of an American tint to it. I go on to explain key three terms: voiced consonants, unvoiced consonants and stop consonants.

I then go through the first five sounds - explaining where Finns get it wrong, how to get it right and going through a list of words for each sound. I finish with several calls to action (like, subscribe, share, follow me on Twitter, enrol in my course '50 Common English Mistakes Made by Finns.')

The sounds I cover in this video are:
1) voiced 'th' and unvoiced 'th'
2) 't' and 'd'
3) 'b' and 'p'
4) 'k' and 'g'
5) 'ch' and 'j'
