Step by step to the perfect insect screen
00:16 Measure the clear width dimension B by measuring the horizontal inside distance of the open window.

00:22 Measure the clear height H by measuring the vertical inside distance of the open window.
00:26 Measure the frame thickness X of the window frame using a tape measure. The frame is the outermost leg of the frame when the window is open.
00:33 Calculate the correct measurement.
00:36 Calculate the measured length H minus 820 mm.
00:51 Calculate the measured length B minus 750 mm.
00:54 Mark the elements with the calculated measurements.
01:27 Shorten the elements with a cutter.
01:36 Mark the frame dimension X plus 11 mm on the suspension springs.
02:05 Edge the suspension springs with pliers.
02:18 Insert two suspension brackets through the two upper corner connectors.
02:24 Connect the spring and the push pin together. Insert the connected unit into the recess provided in the corner connectors.
02:35 Drive the plastic angles into the two lower corner connectors using a rubber mallet.
02:44 Push two suspension brackets through the two lower corner connectors.
02:52 Insert the spacers into the two middle profiles.
03:11 Join the profiles to form a frame. To do this, insert the centre profiles into each of the corner profiles.
04:27 Unroll the fabric over the frame.
04:36 Cut the fabric where the hook-in springs are so that the springs protrude through the fabric.
04:41 Shorten the two middle clip strips at the top and bottom according to the length of the middle profiles. Then fix the fabric at the top and bottom to the profiles using the clip strips.
04:58 Screw the handles on the left and right to the centre of the frame profiles using screws.
05:13 Shorten the four middle clip strips on the left and right according to the length of the middle profiles. Allow for the 3 cm handle length in the middle of the clip strips. Then fix the fabric to the profiles on the left and right using the clip strips.
05:50 Shorten the fabric all around the outside along the clip strips with a cutter.
05:59 The insect screen is now ready to be hung. Open your window and guide the insect screen frame outwards.
06:06 Insert the upper hooking brackets into the frame from the outside. Pull the frame towards you and push it down so that the lower hook-in springs engage behind the frame.
