Suitable for the following Windhager products: 03542, 03823, 03829, 03830, 03831, 03832, 03833, 03835, 03876, 03877, 03878, 03879, 03892, 03893, 03908, 03981, 03981, 03983 (clamp mounting)

Required tools: rolling meter, pencil, hacksaw, file, screwdriver, cutting bowl.

00:16 Measure the width dimension B of the reveal by determining the horizontal wall-to-wall distance.
00:21 Measure the height dimension H of the reveal by determining the vertical wall-to-wall distance.
00:26 Calculate the appropriate shortening dimension for your window.
00:31 To do this, subtract 13 mm from the measured width.
00:45 Subtract 82 mm from the measured height.
01:05 Mark the measurement on the side to be shortened on the roller blind cassette.
01:14 Mark the calculated measurement on both guide rails.
01:24 Shorten the roller blind cassette and the handle rail at the marked point with a hacksaw.
01:31 Shorten the two guide rails at the marked point with a hacksaw.
01:39 File the interfaces on the blind cassette and the guide rails.
01:47 Fit the shaft bearing onto the mandrel on the end cap.
01:50 Insert the brake unit into the recess and screw it through the recess on the end cap.
02:05 Then put the connected unit onto the roller blind cassette.
02:13 Screw it together with the two screws.
02:31 Push the pull cord into the groove on the handle rail and insert the left handle lock into the side of the handle rail on the blind cassette.
02:48 Fix it by screwing in the grub screw using the hexagon socket.
02:56 Insert the spring into the right recess of the left end cap. Screw one screw each into the centre recess of the end caps using a hexagon socket.
03:15 Put the end caps on the cassette.
03:26 Repeat the procedure on the other side.
03:44 Screw one screw each into the recesses provided in the lower clamping parts using a hexagon socket.
04:00 Connect the lower and upper clamps together.
04:14 Insert the connected clamping units into the guide rails.
04:23 Connect the guide rails to the roller blind cassette via the end caps.
04:44 Clamp the roller blind into the wall reveal by adjusting the screws on the inside of the roller blind cassette and guide rails using a hexagon socket.
