Описание: This is the first of hopefully many episodes in a series we've titled "Long Distance Done Well" When Elizabeth's family moved to another state, we did everything we could to stay connected. Road trips, visiting in the Airstream, Summer trips with the kids, birthday cards, phone calls, text messages, and video chats. Then Trish Leech from KYD put out her new book Taste of the States, which Tim bought Cindy for Christmas (2025). It's a beautifully illustrated book with fun facts, things to see, and a recipe from each of the 50 states. This started a new Mother-Daughter Cooking Journey, where Cindy (mother) and Elizabeth (daughter) decided to get together once a week or so and cook one of the recipes. They start with Iowa, where her family lives, and this first recipe is called "The Big T." We hope you enjoy the fun we shared together! Perhaps you can find a way to stay connected with your out-of-state family members as well.
