This video features a Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) C151, trainset 127/128, which is from Ulu Pandan Depot (UPD), to serve the North-South Line (NSL) for the whole day, from NS3 Bukit Gombak to NS5 Yew Tee stations, bound for NS28 Marina South Pier.
For the entire of the year 2026, I will be uploading backlog KHI C151s videos that I currently have, slowly releasing them day by day for nostagia purposes. Enjoy them while you can!
This was filmed when KHI C151s were still allowed to be deployed onto Full Day or Late Night deployment runs, before only being restricted to run during the peak hours from October 2024 onwards, owning to multiple issues that surfaced after EMU 065/066 derailment in September 2024.
Just a typical joyride onboard a KHI C151 on the North-South Line, where KHI C151s are even harder to get with its few in numbers running daily. This was also filmed before the announcement of construction for NS3A Brickland Station and New Viaduct, expected to be completed by 2034.
Strong Motor can be heard on carriage 2128 door A4/B4 area.
Unfortunately, Trainset 127/128 has been retired from the NSEWL fleet, with EMU 127 being sent for scrapping on 14th December 2024 and EMU 128 on 21st December 2024
