❄️ Icy Dog Walk… FPV Drone Showdown! DJI Neo 1 vs DJI Neo 2 Father & Son Adventure
Today me and my 8‑year‑old son Arlo head out for a very icy dog walk — but of course we couldn’t resist turning it into a full‑on FPV test day.
We brought both the DJI Neo 1 and DJI Neo 2 to see how they compare in real‑world conditions: cold air, slippery trails, excited dog, and two curious humans.
We put them head‑to‑head to see:
• What kind of footage each drone can capture
• How they handle tight spaces and icy terrain
• Which one feels smoother, faster, or more stable
• And whether the upgrades on the Neo 2 actually matter outdoors
Then we take things up a notch…
Into the woods we go to test Follow Me mode, weaving through trees to see if either drone will slip up or lose us. Did one of them falter? You’ll have to watch to find out.
This one’s a mix of family fun, real‑world testing, and a bit of chaos — exactly how we like it.
