We're back again with another episode, trying to answer this daunting question... can baby elephants walk from birth? Well just as before, we've seen that (just like people babies) baby elephants may have a hard time taking their first few steps. Although an elephant's gestation is about 22 months, a newborn baby elephant can typically walk for short distances right after being born.
