Описание: So can baby elephants walk from birth? Well just like people babies, baby elephants have a hard time taking their first few steps. Although an elephant's gestation is about 22 months, a newborn baby elephant can typically walk shortly right after being born.

A cute baby elephant may try to rub off the amniotic bladder that is still attached to them after calf passes through their mother's birth canal. The mother elephant separates the amniotic tissue from her newborn and will sniff on her new baby elephant until she accepts her newborn. That's when she pulls her new cute baby elephant towards her and the bond is made.
