Overall, I would recommend the Catalyst Pedal to anyone who is seeking to improve their efficiency and their power distribution through their legs. The Catalyst Pedal is a good example of diminishing returns and marginal gains, but if you ride a enough to notice the difference, they are worth it.

The Catalyst Pedal is $150 - definitely an expensive pedal. Is the Catalyst Pedal 3 times as good as a $50 pedal like the Race Face Chester? Probably not, but if you are seeking to squeeze out the most performance possible out of your gear, then this pedal is definitely worth it.

If you are going to spend big money on your bike, the most important parts you should consider upgrading are your contact points: Grips, seat, and pedals.

I rate the Catalyst Pedal a 9/10. I'll definitely ride them on all my bikes going forward.
