Описание: Appreciate electrician training on how to fit, change or wire an MK BS 1363 13 amp plug top. Includes a full demonstration on how to strip the 3 core flexible cable and connect it into a 3 pin 13 amp plug top. This video also help with the skills required to change, re-wire or replace a UK 13 amp 3 pin plug top. It is important when fitting plug tops to select the correct size BS 1362 fuse with the common sizes being 13, 5 and 3 amps.

Note If you have the cable length card then best practice is to follow the conductor length guide. I use this exercise to start working on hand eye coordination and don’t follow the saying if the plug top has a catastrophic event happen to it then we want the earth connection to be last to be pulled out and therefore somehow save the day. Do we apply the same rule for light switches and socket outlets always leaving the CPC longer than the live conductors in case it is pulled of the wall…
