Other notes: On the first day of August, we decided to make the nearly two and a half hour drive to Canton to get some high quality videos of this UBER high pitched small logo SRNB and to meet up with a few other enthusiasts. This thing is even higher pitched than the 130 at Driscoll Elementary School in Centerville and the SRNB in Cuyahoga Heights; it might just be the highest pitched 2001 ever documented. And just like the 130 at Driscoll, this one is extremely loud and shrill on the ears, especially in the alleyway between the fire station and the KIKO Gallery building. In fact, my sound level meter actually hit a whopping 125 dBA from that alley, which is a higher reading than what I got at the 10/12 port Allertor! Despite that high reading, I don't think it felt quite as loud as the Allertor or Marshall's 6M 1000. This one also rotates for what seems to be the whole duration of the winddown. While waiting for the rotator to stop, it fired up again for a second two minute alert cycle, which definitely caught us all off guard! This was an awesome test and it was fun getting to meet with people!

At the beginning of the video, you can hear one or two of Canton's SRN's winding up in the distance. I honestly thought that this siren might've failed at first, but about ten seconds later this thing screamed to life. During the second cycle, you may notice a change in audio quality, the video stays on the wide shot for the rest of the test, and there is no zoom out and 360 degree pan at the end. The reason for that is because my 540 stopped recording at that point because the footage got corrupted. Unlike the other times my footage had gotten corrupted however, the file still saved on the SD card, but it saved as a .DAT file which cannot be played on any media player. So when I got home I looked on Google to see if I could possibly get the footage repaired. Fortunately, I was able to find a website, but I had to pay $52 for it. Link will be down below. When I downloaded the repaired file, the video was in 50 fps instead of 60 which essentially caused the video to be slower than the audio, thus being out of sync. All I had to do to fix it though was to speed up the video a little on Shotcut while keeping the audio unedited. I'm glad I was ultimately able to save my tight shot footage of this test since I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you enjoy!
