In today’s video, Serene demonstrates how to do a single leg hip thrust. This is a great unilateral exercise for developing your butt and helping to make you aware of any glute imbalances.
Setup
Rest the bottom/base of shoulder blades against a bench
Keep feet within a comfortable distance away
Exercise
Lift one leg up
Drive other leg down lifting your hips
Squeeze your butt at the top
Lower back down controlled
Be careful not to throw head back as you lift up
